Flood Update 9/18/13

Flood Update 9/18/13: Good news #1: The Scenic Byway (Hwy 7) was opened today for travel to Estes Park. That's great news however you should allow extra time if you are going to come to town on Hwy 7. Good news #2: Rocky Mountain National Park reopened today, and Trail Ridge Road is now open to all travel!

Rocky Mountain Resorts is ready to host your stay so come on up and enjoy the fall beauty! Many of our resorts are fully operational, but we are reassigning some guests when necessary so we can complete repairs.

Specific property information:

Marys Lake Vacation Condos: Temporarily closed. The property itself was not affected by floodwaters, but issues in the surrounding area necessitates closing temporarily while the city makes repairs.

Lazy R Cottages: Fully accessible and open for business! Not affected by the floods.

Timber Creek Chalets: Fully accessible and open for business! Not affected by the floods.

Sunnyside Knoll Resort: Fully accessible and open for business! Not affected by the floods.

Fawn Valley Inn: Temporarily closed. Most condos were not affected by the floods, but issues in the surrounding area necessitates closing temporarily while the city makes repairs.

Lofts of Estes: The lower-level condos did get water in them during the flood. Guests with reservations at the Lofts of Estes will be relocated to one of our other properties until repairs are made.

Triple R Cottages: The cottages are OK, but there was some water erosion on the property that affected the roads. We are relocating guests to other properties until we fix the roads. We should be fully open in a day or two.

Bear Creek Vacation Condos: The condos are OK, but the river did overflow on the property and we are currently assessing for any damage. We are relocating guests to other properties until we complete our assessment.
