While there are many events in Estes Park worth attending we particularly love the Whisky Warm Up. With beautiful fresh mountain air, whisky tastings, and live music there are many reasons why you should attend the Whisky Warm Up this winter!

But first… a little bit about the Whisky Warm Up
The Estes Park Whisky Warm Up all started in 2018 to help showcase Colorado’s homegrown whisky distilleries and a few of our locally grown distillers. Held in winter, the event captures a Colorado tradition of warming up from the inside out! Easily sip and sample the finest selections of Colorado whiskys paired with delightful treats, all while listening to live music and shopping from area vendors.
It’s held outside
That’s right, this winter event is held outside! Here in Colorado, we think (well most things) should be celebrated outdoors amongst the beauty of the Rocky Mountains. Plus, with the event being held outside you can attend at your own comfort level, no matter what health concerns you might have. Be sure to dress for the weather, we may have a warm 60-degree day or a cold 20-degree day in March!
Taste from a variety of distilleries
Taste from over 20 local distilleries including Black Bear Distillery, Spirits of the Rockies, and our very own Elkins Distillery and the Estes Park Distilling Co. Plus, if you liked what you tasted, there will be an opportunity at the end of the event to purchase a bottle from your favorite distillery to enjoy at home or in your Rocky Mountain Resorts cabin.
Live entertainment
One of the best reasons to attend the Whisky Warm Up is for the live entertainment. This year the event features the vocal talents of David Zollo from High and Lonesome and The Body Electric. The music is a blend between boogie, blues, honky-tonk, and a good time for all.
