The weekend before Thanksgiving light up the season at Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. The event will take place at the George Hix Riverside Plaza, from 4 PM to 6:30 PM. The event is free and is a great evening event for the entire family!

Catch the Glow Christmas Parade & Celebration
Holiday magic kicks off the day after Thanksgiving with the Catch the Glow Christmas Parade. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the season with bands playing your favorite Christmas music, festive floats, and dancers lining the streets of Estes Park. Families can enjoy hayrides and visit Santa Claus in nearby Bond Park.

Several restaurants in town will offer a bountiful Thanksgiving meal this holiday season. Relieve the stress of cooking a large meal and let the talented chefs in Estes Park do the work for you!
Nicky’s Restaurant
Join Nicky’s Restaurant for their most popular event of the year! The Traditional Thanksgiving buffet served Thursday, November 22nd from noon to 4:30 PM. Reservations required (970-586-5376).
Hunter’s Chop House
Savor old-fashioned mountain fare at Hunter’s Chop House. This casual steakhouse takes pride in serving their aged, hand-cut in-house daily, steaks, chops, and unique wild game dishes. Join them on Thanksgiving for a festive buffet from 12 PM to 7 PM that will include a charcuterie board, baked mac and cheese, cranberry sauce, and so much more! Cost is $45 a person, $15 children 11 years or younger. Reservations are suggested.
Latitude 105
Savor the flavors of Thanksgiving at Latitude 105 with their special plated dinner. Dinner will include all the classics; turkey or ham, stuffing, roasted veggies, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, green bean casserole, and of course pumpkin pie. Reservations are not required and dinner is on a first-come-first-served basis.
The Stanley Hotel
Start your day off with a Thanksgiving brunch at The Stanley Hotel. For $69 (children, ages 5-12 $29) enjoy a turkey and a ribeye carving station, chilled seafood bar, and traditional side favorites. Reservations are required.
