Outdoor Weddings in Estes Park

O’Connor Pavilion

Are you looking for the ideal rustic mountainside venue? Just 5 miles from downtown Estes Park is a beautiful open-air space known as O’Connor Pavilion.  Say your “I Do” s streamside in a grassy meadow with a stunning panorama of Rocky Mountain National Park in the background. After, guests can enjoy a catered reception under the covered pavilion and surrounded by lush green aspens. Couples can customize the area with an arch for the ceremony, decor and even bring a DJ to bring their dream to life in the pavilion and surrounding meadows.

Due to the outdoor nature of the space, the pavilion is only available through the summer and fall.

Overlook Chapel

If mountain views are what you’re looking for, then this is the place for you! Overlook Chapel is the most memorable of several wedding spaces available from the YMCA of the Rockies. Rows of rustic pine benches lead to a platform overlooking the mountainous terrain of the Rockies behind. You can host up to 100 guests at this outdoor chapel from Memorial Day until the end of October. Couples have their choice when it comes to receptions. They can reserve one of the other venue options available at the YMCA of the Rockies to hold a catered event. Or change locations to one of the many dining options in downtown Estes Park that feature private party packages.

Outdoor Weddings in Rocky Mountain National Park

Moraine Park Amphitheater

As one of the only venues in Rocky Mountain National Park that allows an arch, it’s a picture-perfect outdoor space for an intimate ceremony with less than 100 guests. Surrounded by green forests and rolling hills, it feels as private as any other venue. Guests can grab a seat on wooden benches or on stone steps that lead down to the main staging area. Continue the celebration and arrange your reception at one of the nearby eateries downtown Estes Park. Be sure to take advantage of the surrounding landscape for memorable wedding day pictures.

Indoor Weddings in Estes Park

SkyView at Fall River Village

For those that prefer elegant indoor venues, SkyView at Fall River Village is an option that has become a favorite in Estes Park. The rooftop space features the perfect blend of modern and rustic mountain décor with striking views. Couples can have an indoor and outdoor ceremony all in one, with Long’s Peak and the Continental Divide providing the perfect mountain backdrop for their special day.

The Pavilion at The Stanley

The pavilion is one of the largest venue options for weddings in Estes Park, with a special surprise. The 7000 square foot building features several multipurpose ballrooms centered around a spacious 250-seat auditorium. And the best part? The amphitheater is closed by a moveable, crystal clear glass door that opens to reveal granite rocks and a sparkling private pond set against the majestic Rockies.

Elope in Rocky Mountain National Park

Some couples want to jump in and start their lives together with just the two of them and a few close loved ones standing by. These elopement destinations in Rocky Mountain Park bring fantastic scenery and the intimate setting they’re looking for.

3M Curve

Three miles from Rocky Mountain National Park entrance is the famous 3M Curve, signaled by a large pullout for parking. Thanks to the rocks and lush trees that shield it from passersby on the road, the large overlook feels private and serene. Couples and guests take a short trail to the ceremony area from the pullout. Expansive views of Longs Peak await, offering a unique background year-round.

Sprague Lake

Lakeside elopement is within reach at Sprague Lake, 15 minutes inside of Rocky Mountain National Park. Easy accessibility makes it a great destination choice year-round. Your ceremony will take place on the dock away from regular trail users. The bride and groom exchanging vows on the dock make it look as though they are floating right on the water with a mountainside background that is sure to take your breath away!
